Founded in November, 2004, the United Africans Association of Reading is a non-profit entity that aims to unite the hearts and minds of all peace-loving people of African descent within a social and cultural framework. It aspires to promote, foster, and nurture cultural awareness among its members and their progeny. It also aims to promote educational and vocational programs to benefit not only its members but also the community at large.

This association is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under section 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
